Special days of retreat are offered for children in First Reconciliation through Confirmation. These days combine prayer, fun, creativity and audiovisual presentations in an effort to foster faith development in a relaxed environment.
All retreat days are an integral part of the religious education program at Our Lady of Mercy parish. Students preparing to celebrate a sacrament (First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation) are required to participate in their retreat day. Students in non-sacramental programs are encouraged, but not required, to participate.
All parishioners are invited to participate in the retreat day offered for their grade level, whether or not their children are enrolled in the formal religious education program. There is no cost for any retreat programs offered through our Parish.
